We are thrilled to add Laura, our new Sales Representative, to our Minnesota Landscapes team. Get to know our newest team member – who you might soon see onsite at a project or chat with on the phone!
What brought you to Minnesota Landscapes?
I have a heavy sales and design background, so landscaping sales sounded natural.
How are you looking forward to helping Minnesota Landscapes customers?
I am excited to help clients create their dream oasis at their house, as home truly should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. During the pandemic more people spent time at home and the patio space became like another extension of the home. That has continued since, with more families focusing on their outdoor space.
What is your favorite plant or flower?
I love peonies! They were our wedding flowers.
What do you like to do for fun, outside of work?
I have two young children, so spending time with my family is important to me. I also love to play tennis if I ever get free time. :)
What is your favorite Minnesota season?
I love the fall. Putting on a light jacket and taking in the changing colors has always been my favorite time of year.
Who is your favorite sports team? Sorry to the Minnesota fans, but I'm a longtime Cubs fan after living in Chicago for many years.
What's your favorite local restaurant?
I'm a foodie, so enjoying something off the beaten path is enjoyable every now and again, so I would have to say Bucheron.
What other interesting anecdotes do you want to share about yourself? I grew up on a small family farm in Eastern Iowa tucked behind the Field of Dreams movie site. I guess that is my claim to fame :)
