Shrubs that were spaced right five years ago are touching now. Perennials flopped over. What was designed as layers reads as a jungle from the street.
You know what needs doing. You also know it is fourteen hours of raking, hauling, cutting back and wrestling burlap around evergreens, and it is not happening this October.
A designed landscape is an investment that either compounds or degrades. Most crews treat fall as chores to knock out. Nobody is actually watching whether your plants make it.

Enough property that leaf volume alone becomes a real job. Tree work is usually the biggest variable at this size.

Large lots out toward Cottage Grove, Afton and Dellwood. These always get a site visit before we quote.

Arborvitae, upright junipers and white pine take the worst of it. One ice storm opens a mature specimen permanently.

Every weed that seeds out this October comes back multiplied. Pre-emergent has a window, and it closes.
A mature shade tree runs thousands to replace, and you wait twenty years for it to look like the one you lost. Protection is always cheaper than replacement.
Your property looks handled again, your plants go into the freeze protected, and the money you put into this landscape stops leaking out a plant at a time.
Beds edged and clear, shrubs shaped, leaves gone off the property. The yard reads as intentional again from the street.
No dead patches to reseed, no girdled trunks to explain, no browned-out evergreens to replace. Your April starts where last October left off.

No. We handle trees, shrubs, perennials and beds. Our fertilization is deep root feeding for woody plants, not lawn treatment. Most homeowners already have a lawn care service for aeration and turf fertilization, and we work around them.
We do not plow. For current clients we will haul away the snow piles that build up along driveways after heavy storms, and we handle salting. Ask us if that is something you need.
Cleanup starts as the leaves drop in late September and runs through November. Winter protection work, meaning guards, burlap and anti-desiccant, has to go in as the ground starts to freeze and before the first heavy snow. Book early. The window is short and it fills.
